Freedom Kahlo
We are a dedicated art therapy collective created exclusively for women. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing space where creativity becomes a pathway to healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. Through the process of making art, women are invited to explore their stories, emotions, and identities in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Our sessions bring women together in shared experience, offering connection, encouragement, and the opportunity to rebuild trust. Whether navigating trauma, seeking a deeper understanding of self, or simply looking for a place of community, our art therapy groups offer meaningful tools for growth and lasting change.
What we believe in…
“Women-only art therapy is essential because it offers a safe space for honest expression, especially for those who have experienced trauma. Free from judgment or social pressure, women can explore themes like identity, femininity and motherhood in a supportive environment. Shared experiences foster connection, validation and healing. These sessions empower women to reclaim their voice and often build lasting, trust-based communitites beyond the therapy space.” - Dr Nicola Mallowan
